El Salvador has 320 kilometers of pacific coast with beaches that can offer you many ¨point breaks¨ (big waves and pipes) smooth and almost the beast ones around Central America. The country has excellent zones in which you can surf, like the famous El Sunzal at the East coast and by the west La Bocana. After surfing all day surfers or anyone can come by and join beach El Tunco which is near El Sunzal, there they make parties in which you can dance with drum music (Batucada) and watch how the sun appears really early in the morning. A lot of beaches in El Puerto de La Libertad have waves from first class during the whole year. In this same beach that is surrounded by hotels and many delicious restaurants you can see many children ¨bodyboarding¨ with ¨boogies¨ or taking some surf lessons. If the tourists don’t have a surfboard in the surroundings of the beach there are many places where you can rent one and go and take some lessons. In the beach Punta Roca the waves are awesome because the come one after the other one and it is considers the best waves in El Salvador.
San Diego Beaches
San Diego is nice because it has a big beach with more than seven kilometers in which it good for playing volleyball and soccer or even for getting a quite good sun tan, if you are hungry or you want to rest there is nothing to worry about because in the surroundings there are many places in which you can eat delicious sea food or rest in comfortable beds. This beach is located 40 minutes away from the capital and itis a very good option if you want to enjoy the tropical climate.
Salinitas With almost white sand beaches and quite a little bite of waves because of the rocky structure. Salinitas is a very known beach because many fun activities can be done there for example: diving, kayak (a mini boat where you row), fishing, or just take a ride in boats. Also you can enjoy of natural pool of salty water made by the same rocks. And it is very known because of their beautiful reefs and the Royal Decameron Hotel.
